About the Project
LYN Business Yard proposes the transformation of the ground level of LYN Tower — a modernist landmark in central Tel Aviv — into a new public-commercial environment. The project reimagines the building's base as an active urban threshold: a place where landscape, circulation, and commercial program converge to create a new kind of presence at street level.
The design introduces a coherent spatial system that organizes movement, seating, greenery, and retail within a unified architectural language — anchoring the tower to its surroundings and activating the public realm.
Design Concept
A new ground for the city.
The project works at the interface between the tower and the street — dissolving the hard boundary between private commercial space and public urban life. A continuous landscape layer ties together the building's entrances, the adjacent streets, and the courtyard within, creating a new civic ground that belongs to both the tower and the city.
